Copper Caddy

One day I wandered into TJ Maxx and found 3 copper pitchers which I knew I didn't need but had to have. Props, of course. This one's been sitting here for weeks holding watercolor brushes and a palette knife and I thought it was time to paint it.
This afternoon I went to the beach with the intention of painting which didn't happen. It was again,  windy and brisk but, hey, it's still Florida and I enjoyed reading and taking photos of the kite surfers.

Hi Mary, lovely to hear from you. Thats another lovely painting, I really like the warm, copper colour tones. Its a cold breezy Easter weekend in the UK so its a good excuse to stay home and eat lots of chocolate LOL! Happy Easter! X

Mary, I built my whole living room around a 4 x 6 inch copper painting my cousin sent me. It looks wonderful with amber and cobalt. I just looked back at what I'd written and "cobalt" now appears to me as "chocolate". Guess I know what I'm doing next

You have some very nice paintings. I'm impressed with how you can paint glass.

That's what you get for wandering - a great painting! OH, I loe the play of the colors for copper against that lovely greeny blue!
p.s. my 'word verification' today is "feconal' - sounds like horrible medicine, no?
