Motif # 1 Damons' Point
This little 'shack' has been perched precariously on an island near the mouth of the North/South River confluence forever. It washed away during the Blizzard of '78 and was rebuilt. It's recently been remodeled to be more of a house with a gabled roof. I'm glad I have many photos of it 'before'. I used to know a lady who lived there.

Good to know you are back to easel!
I love houses with a history...
Don't you love all the little buildings that dot our shorelines, tucked away on their own little amazing pieces of land? It's a lovely image...one of those that each time I pass by I think, "I should paint that...." Glad you did!
thanks for looking in on my blog and giving me the chance to see you great art work
i especially like this one - as a painting but also because it brings out the hermit in me :)
cheers
