Island Street Marsh 8x8"

I travel far and wide to paint quaint fishing villages and lobster boats in harbors but all of that is right here in Marshfield, in my 'own back yard', as the saying goes. Aside from being hideously over crowded now, Marshfield is still a beautiful place to live. Quickly disappearing quaint cottages and old fishing sheds can still be found and the harbor has a working lobster and fishing fleet.

Little Carlos Pass, Bonita 9x12

Painting a day is a huge commitment and I am in awe of the many who are doing it. I have been painting almost everyday but over the last week we've had company and social time with some of our friends who are leaving South Florida to go North. Thus, not much painting. Sometimes my tendency to over complicate my subject gets in my way and the painting isn't good enough to post. This painting was done on site in Bonita Springs, Florida. Back to the easel I go.....thanks for stopping by.
