This is Penniman House, an old sea Captain's house located in Eastham on the Cape. I stopped there on my way to Provincetown Thursday to do a few sketches on a beautiful sunny day. Such charming architecture. I'd love to live there.
Today I'm off to paint at a Garden tour in Marshfield to support the Clift Rodgers Free Library, a little gem in Marshfield Hills. Stop by if you are in the neighborhood.

What a lovely old house!
This is so East Coat! I've got to get there to paint someday!
J'aime ces vieilles maisons, elles ont une âme et qui se reflète dans vos oeuvres.
Bisous;
amazing, lively sketches!
Playful homes, so cute, Mary!
From old sea captain's homes to Kelley's purple door, you're very good at painting the life into architecture.
I am with Pam...gotta get up there and paint one day! Gosh, these sketches are amazing. I am not as gifted at drawing and am just loving these. Works of art. You go girl!!
Absolutely charming! Can you come up to Maine and paint this summer? We'll find an old boat...
Oh, Mary, I love this. You really must do more drawing! Your sketches have such great personality!
