Right, I didn't really GO to SF but, inspired by Bill Guffey I
visited via Google Earth and did this watercolor of a building on
Barbary Coast Road, which is a main drag in SF. So here it is.
Another
thing I have to do is repost my Sunshine Award which I was supposed to
pass on to 12 other bloggers and which I received again from Kelley MacDonald.
I only listed three but no matter, since I have a file of links that
I've collected from my travels through the blogosphere. Stay tuned.

Oh Mary, I love this one. It makes me wish I were a)rich and could buy it; b)smart and could paint it or c)able to leave comments that aren't either sucky or smarmy or both
Another winner! The trees are wonderful, and I love just the suggestion of the cars.
Very cool -- your trip to S.F. I love the painting, too.

Mary,
Nice watercolors! Love the colors!
It's good to hear from you. I can't wait to see more work.
I love the virtual traveling! You can go anywhere now and still be in your pajamas.
it's great how you simplified the view and distilled it down.
You are really having a good time traveling around. Nice sunny watercolor.
Lovely colors, especially considering your reference was Google Earth. Very nice painting!
I wonder what happened to MY comment? Oh well, eaten by Blogger! I love the idea of a virtual vacation! And I also love your delicate touch with watercolor! I can't go back and forth from oil to watercolor - acrylic is hard enough! I'll leave that to you and John Singer Sargent!
Really nice Mary, so fresh and cleana with beautiful color. You did this off Google Earth!!!???
