Irises Watercolor 6x6
Yesterday I had all the air conditioners on early which kept the temperature inside at a cool 70 degrees. 70 is freezing for most people so I took my watercolors outside for a painting session. Just a little doodle here. Practice makes perfect. By the time I finished this I was pouring sweat even though I was sitting in the shade. It was close to 100 degrees here.

lovely iris Mary! you would be sitting outside in a balmy 52 degrees here ;) brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
This is beautiful and delicate. Almost looks like tissue paper....
Yeah! I love this with the washy feeling - very nice.. tell me again why you left the 70 degree house?
Nice "doodle." You definitely captured their "iris-ness."
I really like seeing sketches.
Thanks.
Love the delicateness of it. Wow, you are having some hot weather.
We will be in upper 90's tomorrow...typical for So Cal.
Watercolour works so well for Irises Mary. Lovely mix of greens in this painting.
We are having one of the coolest springs on record here!!!!
