Half a Pepper Watercolor 6x8
Just for fun I played with watercolors yesterday. I did some cropping on this piece because I think it's stronger that way and the cropping shows the color details.
The magical look of watercolor comes from the way the white paper shows through the paint.

this is the first red pepper I ever wanted to eat
I Mary!! When I first saw your pepper I thought 'Wow!' I really love it. I love the vibrant color. I have a question for you. I put it on my blog. Please come over for a visit!
Wow! Your talent amazes me! I really like the cropped one. Now I'm thinking I would like to try watercolors...
cool!! i don't think even if i could paint i would ever attempt that white seed stuff.
funny i've just made that my new snack ( with lots of ranch dressing of course.)
Mary, do you scan your work or photograph it digitally? I'm curious as the painting has a dark cast to it on my computer.
I love the way you used colour here.
If you don't mind, I'm going to create a link to your site. It will make it easier to visit.
Mary, I admire the looseness, the fresh juicy color and the translucence! Well done.
This is great! The color, looseness, flowy look.
