Half a Pepper Watercolor 6x8

Just for fun I played with watercolors yesterday. I did some cropping on this piece because I think it's stronger that way and the cropping shows the color details. The magical look of watercolor comes from the way the white paper shows through the paint.

Wow! Your talent amazes me! I really like the cropped one. Now I'm thinking I would like to try watercolors...

cool!! i don't think even if i could paint i would ever attempt that white seed stuff.
funny i've just made that my new snack ( with lots of ranch dressing of course.)

Mary, do you scan your work or photograph it digitally? I'm curious as the painting has a dark cast to it on my computer.

I love the way you used colour here.
