Has anyone ever noticed that the most beautiful trees are in cemeteries? I did this little block in from my car before the hurricane winds took all the leaves.
I am in the midst of trying to get ready for Open Studios and since I just moved in and the lights still have to be hung, and everything is packed. It's quite daunting.

Nice!!! Daunting - like that word, was tired of overwhelmed.
I'll come help. can't wait for open studios/open house. seems like it was just last month tho. time flies!
Daunting indeed...I'm still putting up wallboard in mine! (ok, my husband is doing that...)With such a short time left before the main event I'm wondering if I'll make it. Something tells me your place will look amazing, and if I don't get to open mine, at least I'll have more time to visit yours! (that seems like a good idea!)
Cool! I love the color in this one. Good luck with the OS - I'm having one, too, at Denise's place in Bristol, so I won't be able to see yours - maybe next week?
Lots of wonderful color and emotion in this simple piece.
Mary, I too have done plein air paintings in graveyards. They are my most favourite place to sit a spell.
