The Girls Just Wanna Paint subject was tools.

I've arranged my "tools", including a tube of paint, several brushes, palette knife and my turps cups, on a backdrop and played with the color. I almost did not include the lettering on the tube but felt it was necessary.

It's been quite a while since I set up a still life of this nature and I really enjoyed it.

We had the most lovely opening party last night for our Girls Just Wanna Paint group show at South Shore Natural Science Center.

Despite pouring rain, we were pleased and honored to have a substantial turnout of supporters to cheer us on.
