Three Gardenias

"Three Gardenias"
6x6 oil on panel
SOLD
My girls never made a peep about having to paint these flowers today although I may have detected a bit of a grimace when they saw the setup. I started this for my demo and finished it up this afternoon. Last night I had a hard time sleeping after the unbelievable terror bombings in Boston. I have no words.

Un charmant petit bouquet... Des couleurs qui sont aussi "parfumées" que doivent l'être ces fleurs d'une grande délicatesse.
Gros bisous à vous.

Gorgeous and I do so love the light reflection within the shadow. Big luscious blooms are so pretty!!

A beautiful painting on a horrible day. We must all do what we can to bring beauty to the world, don't we?

Mary!
Beautiful painting! We in Boston certainly need some beauty!
I posted some photos of Patriots' Day the day before the tragedy including photo of me running the marathon!
I know how you feel about not being able to sleep! Hang in there. People care.
Boston Strong!
Very appropriate painting for a very sad day in Boston!
Your fellow Boston art buddy!

I can SMELL them! You've got your 'white' painting! Looks gorgeous. A harmony of colors which resides in every white object.
