Beach Baby 6"x6" oil on Raymar panel
SOLD
Happy Independence Day! Last night Don and I took a ride around our neighborhood {prompted by a power outage ;)} all the way down to Brant Rock. I never saw such crowds and lawn parties and the most fabulous fireworks display was taking place over the beaches all the way down the shore. SPECTACULAR! This is Colin last summer at the beach. He says it doesn't look like him ;)

It could look like any blonde kid. I like the anonymity and abstract quality of this Mary.Great colors too!

It's lovely!
What a gorgeous painting and even "gorgeouser" Colin! I never mind power outages...unless I'm watching something good on tv. LOL
Love the painting and the comment by Colin himself....too cute! Your Fourth of July sounds wonderful! Also sounds like some great ideas for paintings:) Go Mary!!
He just said that because he's so much older now! You nailed that head gesture, girl!
We had no power outage - but sat outside and watched the string of fireworks displays up and down Aquidneck Island.

This is wonderful... what a great way to remember those phases (whether he thinks it looks like him or not)! You caught the moment! Love it.
I, too, like the 'it could be any child' feel of it...sigh, I haven't made it to the beach yet this summer...
