Her name is Nancy, but she's affectionately called Nanny by those close to her. She always wears red shoes and in this portrait I gave her a red sweater. The values in the skin tone got a little flattened out in the photo but I'm getting a new camera soon. This is the April Challenge on Girls Just Wanna Paint.

I love the nickname. I have red shoes..better yet I have red cowboy boots and I'm going to start wearing them more often. Nice portrait, I'm liking the evidence of your brushstrokes.
