I tried to get Wendell to pick the winner of the painting give away yesterday morning. I was all ready with the camera when someone walked up our front steps and Wendell made a bee line for the stairs and was unsettled for the rest of the morning. No way could I coax him down. So this morning we did it and the winner is Janet McCarthy of Kingston, MA. Congratulations, Janet!

I love this! What is driving me crazy, however, is that I can't seem to get my reader to pick up your blog either by subscribing (as I used to) or by following. It's a mystery! I've missed so many of your posts - but I'm here in spirit.
I love Maine coons!- she's so sweet, now I know where your e-mail name came from.....Did Wendell also read the name? (there seems to be great satisfaction in the catch).

Mary, Wendell is a charmer! I can tell he is a kitty with a strong personality! Maybe, i should say, aren't they all! Not having met him, I can say for sure, that he is adorable! Love to hear about our precious fur babies!
