I had so much paint left on my palette that I tried to get a little floral painting done. Not. Values are not right and it could be drawn better. So I wiped it, but, there's a lesson in each one. I like the highlights around the daisies and some of the tones in the flowers. Charles Sovek said "don't make anything too precious." He was right.

Wipe Out

Please tell me what was wrong with this...I don't think I would get so technical about it...but then, I'm not the artist here so...I think it's lovely...and I don't just say that...ever...
I like to play this game too - use up the paint on the palette on something small and quick, and try not to take anything else out (except maybe more white, I always need white). In any event, I'm really enjoying looking at your work, it has a wonderful painterly feel and I like your color palette. Thanks also for visiting and commenting on my Daily Portrait Blog.

In retrospect..it wasn't that bad ;)
