Twins
I picked up these little glass cube candle holders at the Flea Market while Don was otherwise occupied ;) He has a 6th sense about my shopping for 'props' and tries to head off some of my purchases with, "do you really need that?". The answer? "Of course, I do."

Wow, I dont know how you have managed to do a painting of glass and the glass really looks like glass (if you understand what I mean). In other words, I like it very much, it looks so realistic X
Fantastic painting.
Funny, I was at a thrift store looking for subject matter just today. :)
Love the sunny hot feel of this painting and it is definitely glass.
See you soon.
LOL! Good pick for your art work. I like the yellow.

The qualities of glass must be so hard to capture, but you have it down really well. I think you should do wine glasses next. First go shopping to get glasses; choose the best possible lighting; get all the gear in place; recheck the lighting, fill wine glasses with primo quality stuff; recheck the lighting; quaff the contents and make a picture that looks like this one but with stems.
BEAUTIFUL painting, Mary. Excellent job.
Love this! They look like canary diamonds! I could have sworn I was already following you, I rejoined your entourage anyway. Hugs!
What can I say Mary...another wow!
Hi Mary, Your candle holders are really nice, great painting!
As someone else said, the glass effect is perfect ...
The perfect answer! lol. These are beautiful. I love the color of the ground, and gorgeous reflections.
Thanks everyone. I really enjoyed this one and as always, your comments are my favorite part of this blog!
Mary, this is wonderful. You DID need these. I cannot wait for your arrival. Have a safe trip...

this has such a great abstract quality and wonderful color! I used to have a couple of those little candle holders! Wish I'd done what you did while I could still find them!
Wow, this is awesome--what a wonderful study of glass, Mary!
