Detail from Stonington Bridge
I did tweak the bridge painting today despite getting two different opinions on the cables. I put some subtle highlights on the bridge itself and just a hint of light over the cables. Hope I didn't wreck it. I'm posting a small detail of the birds today (did anyone know they were birds?) because after endless attempts, I couldn't get an accurate photo of the finished painting. I'll have to wait for a brighter day.

I love the look of oils Mary. very nice colors and the texture is so very cool!
Wow! what a beautiful little piece that would be all in itself.
It has been a while since I had a chance to stop by Mary.
Thanks for the reference on the grab bag. It was Kevin Macpherson's idea. I just grabbed it from him.
You have posted lots of great things lately.
Thank You Frank :D
