A Room In Brooklyn 1932

Edward Hopper Chillin' Flamingo Isle Sunday Afternoon 8x8
Here are some shots of work in progress. One is my fake Edward Hopper which I'm keeping in the fridge until it's complete. Hopefully I'll post the finish tomorrow and get this thing mailed up to Newport, Rhode Island for Spring Bull gallery's Fabulous Fakes and Forgeries show. The other shot is a painting in progress in the studio.

Looking good - not tried putting paintings in a fridge (to slow drying?); though have covered paints in water to keep them over night.

Thanks for the comment on mine. Think my most natural style would be hybrid
- blend of representation and abstract. It's been very helpful learning how other people work through seeing blogs!

Mary, I would love to just live in that Edward Hopper fake---all the red shoes are mine by the way.
