A group of bloggers is doing a Doors Project today. After laboriously, copying and pasting 30 plus links to the other bloggers, they disappeared which was traumatic. So, please check out Frank Gardner to see the other participants. Sorry 'bout that.

All your doors are colorful and full of character...thank you for the tour. One wonders what stories some of them would tell.
I had a similar disaster occur pasting my links, then copying them one by one, then struggling with Html errors...I barely made it. Your doors are lovely though!
Lucky for me that the Doors of the World have opened to show me your work and world. I'm enjoying this trip around the globe and meeting wonderful artists like you. What a lovely and colourful collection of portals! Best wishes.
A lovely "artsortment" of doors. Beautiful paintings as well.
What colourful doors from so many different places!
Great!! Love em all!!
I have enjoyed seeing all your doors. I think my favorite is the pink door in Parsboro, Nova Scotia, although your old studio door is gorgeous too! Thanks for sharing these lovely pictures with us!
Lovely doors Mary! I enloy doors, they often lead to great joy and contentment. They are all very inviting.
You have posted a very nice assortment Mary. Great doors. Sorry that you had so much trouble with links. It took me a few nights to get mine all in working order.
I enjoyed looking at all your door photos. Thanks!

Great Blog !!!!! I enjoyed it a lot :)
Mary - loved your doors! My sister and I are going to do a series called "Gates and Doors - Two Sisters"..I paint doors and she does wonderful colored pencils of gates.
Mary, my blog is the door to my mind---it looks a bit like the Parrsboro door, but it's vry slightly warped.
Love the doors, all very unique..

Just catching up - great doors.
Trying to get started oil painting again after a long gap and found scrolling through your work an incentive!
....thanks for your comment on mine. Just love the expression studio rat. Good point!
...I've been dipping into Duane's blog occasionally for some time now, though tend towards larger work personally. Not formally qualified in art, but did get the chance to do an intensive foundation course at the Slade a few years ago; have a son who is doing Fine Art. If you're interested, there are sets of photos of Henry Moore at Kew Gardens on my Photoblog - (link main page (VV) sidebar, then look in the pb sidebar for past sets).
Have a good weekend!
Wow how fun! I esp. like that second one; t'would make an interesting painting subject.
Hi again, and thanks for visiting my blog and leaving your comments...I see what you meant by 'yet another Naples' as it sounds like you are in Naples, FL for the winter! I appreciate your encouraging remarks!

All the doors are great but I love the pink cottage. I want to paint it. Why are north americans so dedicated to beige, grey and white at house colors? I wish I could pass a by-law in Canal Flats making people paint their houses all sorts of wonderful colors but they already think I'm weird.
wonderful idea; I love these door--each is as individual as a person!
i love the light in the first photograph at your old studio. that is beautiful photography!
the rest are all interesting, too, but the first made me gasp aloud. :)
I so appreciate all these comments especially Sky's about my studio door. That studio was my favorite place in the world.
Beautiful doors! Are you going to paint them as well as photograph them? That would be a great series.
