Tangerines on Blue 6x8
I finally have this ready to post. Of course, while setting up my tangerines with the Keeping it Simple, idea in mind, I instead put the tangerines and slices on a dark blue fabric with lighter blues and oranges woven into it. What was I thinking?

Well, you did not keep it simple, that's for sure. Well orchestrated piece Mary. I agree with "little like sand", it really dances.
Oh, i think you were selfishly and randomly thinking of something incredibly beautiful.
I humbly thank you for coming over and sharing your comments and lovely selves. The blogosphere has leveled the playing field for artists. We can all shine and that's what it's all about.
Well you must've been thinking orange on blue would be fun to paint. Looks like it was! I love the complementary color theme... very vibrant.
It must have been 'opposite day' - because this is ANYthing but simple! Beautiful though, I love the deep colors against the brilliant tangerines. Nice one.
Wonderful composition and of course the blue and orange are perfect both in color and value contrasts. Love it! I'm adding your link to my favorite blogs so I can follow what you are up to!
I love the composition and color combination you have here.
