Feeling Crabby Today 4x4
Feeling a little crabby lately? I am. My computer is hanging up in Outlook Express and I've already wasted an hour trying to post this painting. Drive me crazy! A few weeks ago, my grandson Andrue and I hunted Duxbury beach for horseshoe crabs and came home with this teeny one. I just love the shapes of these and the fact that they're prehistoric. I did a quick sketch last night while watching the Red Sox win the World Series, AGAIN! Wow! Check out Not Really A Cleaning Lady if you want to take a look at a painting in progress.

I was down to line 5 before I realized that this was a crab---I just thought it was a lovely abstract with some interesting texture.
Lorna that's funny.
If you click on horseshoe crabs in the 4th line there's a link to all you ever wanted to know about horseshoe crabs. Quite fascinating that they're still around.
thanks for visiting.
Hi Mary, thanks for visiting my blog, Brushstrokes, etc. Nice to "meet" you. I really like everything here on your blog - the crab is great! Love the creamy paint appearance!
I like your crab!
I've been busy with workshops and painting and moving, eeek! I need to get back to blogging...and those Red Sox are freakishly good! As a Yankee fan it pains me to admit it!
Janette
GO SOX!
And this is fab - I hate these crabs, they freak me out, but as a shape.... cool!
