Paint Out
Yesterday I met Kelley and Ros and we painted in Hull. It was a glorious day. I shot a bunch of photos and did a nice block-in of the old building which houses the repair shop for the carousel horses. Very old fashioned and cool. There was on old Jeep out front and that's what I focused on. I hindered myself some by not having a proper setup (no side table to put stuff on, hand held palette, etc.) and I muddied up the color too much from not switching brushes. The photo is the initial sketch. The main thing is that it was fun.
Afterward I went up to the Cemetery by the old Fort, took more pictures and enjoyed the clear view of Boston Light and the Harbor Islands, Graves Light, Minot's Light and the Boston skyline! Awesome!

Hi All,
I jumped ship on Comcast and went with Verizon fiber optics so my email is changed, for the last time,I HOPE, to WENDL15@verizon.net.
Please make a change in your address book since Comcast will not forward and won't let me into that account now ;(
WENDL15@verizon.net
no period after it.
Mar, make this about your email change a separate post - in a bright color...
Good thinking.
Now I still need to figure out why your comment didn't come in email. Grrrrrr...and see if this one does.
:D
Thanks for dropping in dear one.
Got IT.
Ok, I had to change the log in email address to wendl15@verizon.net, even though blogger tells you that your original address will remain your login even if it's no longer a valid email.
When I finally entered my new address and my old password, I got in.
Makes no sense and you have to know that there's a lot of stuff like that on the internet.
Be persistant ,try everything.
Nice! sounds like fun!
Love the image. Eager to see where you go with this! Interested in hearing more about the stages of this piece -- I have never attempted something plein air (not even particially)
