This Lighthouse is in Parrsboro Nova Scotia on the magnificent Bay of Fundy. We spend two weeks in June here in a little cottage on the shore. That happens to still be black fly season there but the lupines are in bloom and that's a can't miss situation. So I have my bug spray and my benadryl spray and my paints and I'm one happy woman. Don and I consider the 11 hour drive well worth it and you should too. Don't miss out on the beauty of the Canadian Maritimes.

Great work. Your enjoyment of painting shows.
What a great work of art. I love how passionate you are about your work.
How the heck did you get 3 comments in the time I switched from Hotmail to your site????? This is gorgeous. Really takes me there (which I hope actually happens some time soon!). Keep on keepin' on, girl!
Shhh Mary!
Don't tell everyone! We always were thankful for the 13 hour drive (for us when we were kids) because it meant that the tourists never made it up that far. They usually stopped around midcoast. Well at least not droves of tourists anyway! They put Quoddy HEad on the cover of Downeast Magazine last year, and I thought oh no don't tell everyone. Keep it a secret!
Lucky you! I miss going. My parents are up there this week, and I am terribly jealous! And I love this painting. And I LOVE lupines :-) And lighthouses...So this one really appeals to me.
