Duxbury Dinghys

 SOLD
I drove over the beach road on my way home from Kingston on Tuesday and spotted these dinghys lying on the marsh at Bluefish River. The beach road connects Duxbury to Marshfield on the Ocean side of town close to where I live and I love to drive it. I got another treat when I spotted a group of riders saddling up to take an evening ride on the beach! The painting has much more depth than the photo shows.

Gorgeous, I love the thread of blue water, the light on the dinghys and the warmth. The colors are all beautiful! Is the underpainting orange?

Hello! Wonderful colors in the white of the dinghys. Congratulations on the sale. And thanks for the nice shot from the beach road. (I miss your part of the world...) Looks like you arrived home for perfect weather. May it continue!

Something about the Duxbury Dinghys which keeps pulling me back to look yet again. It has a wonderful abstract feel. Sometimes we see something which really moves us and sometimes we are happy to go one step further and put that on canvas. It worked beautifully, Mary.
