SOLD at the Art Boutique at Tin City in Naples, Florida
Last weekend we took a ride up to Sanibel Island on a beautiful day. I took this shot of the lighthouse from the bridge as we were leaving. This is the first of two paintings I did today while I listened to a replay of Blog Talk Radio featuring Carol and David Marine. It's absolutely true that if you paint several in a row they get better and better. Stay tuned.

I love lighthouses! And I love how impressionistic and loose this one is! Nice!
Very nice! I love the textured look of this!
Beautiful colors! I like your brush strokes in the trees. Beautiful!
Hey Mary! What fun!... I like how you've kept this loose and soft!
Lovely painting Mary! Great brushstrokes in the trees and your sky has got a warm reddish feel to it. Thanks for sharing!
Très belle harmonie de couleurs... Jolie peinture.
Bisous
It's a beautiful impression of the scene, Mary.
I love your light house. So many nice travel memories. Please check out my post today to help me celebrate JanettMarie.
Also please spread to word. This could be big :o)
I love lighthouse paintings, Mary. This one is special with the foliage in the foreground!
Mary, this is what I love ! Your use of color and brush work in this painting makes me want a lighthouse!
your brushwork is stellar! this is a wonderful painting.
Love those big bold strokes and yet the lighthouse is made more of a focal point by being a bit tighter. Does that make sense? I don't know...I'm a bit off my usual self, but I do know this is a wonderful piece!
Beautiful palette and great brushwork. Love Sanibel, you captured the feeling.
OMG, this is so awesome - the pink ground (m I right?) seems to peek through! And the various colors of blue in the foliage are gorgeous!
Wonderful brushwork on this one!
Mary, Love this one! Really beautiful job! Such happy colors!
Mary, beautiful colors and brushwork!
