Bennett's General Store

This is an iconic scene here in Duxbury, Massachusetts. In the winter this jeep wears a hardtop roof. Lettered onto the sides of the Jeep are the items the store carries. Ice cold beer, Wine, Spirits, Deli, Subs, Breakfast and Sandwiches. I don't think I've ever seen a painting of it. Am I the first?
Check out Fresh Paint Daily Painters, a new group of artists I was invited to join.

Mary, this is one of my very favourites! It makesme want to run into that store, buy chocolate, ice-cream and bait.

Love the lively colors in this one. Also wanted to comment on the beautiful cup and saucer you posted in Fresh Paint. The color combo is great - the foam green with that gold - very nice.

I love this so much because it looks so American, with the big signs on poles and sunshine! I can almost smell cinnamon buns.
