OK, you're being TOO much of a perfectionist - NO WIPING here! I love the close values, and the rich color. Do. Not. Wipe. This.
Thank you, dearest :D
DO NOT WIPE...that is an order.Love it- very deep and rich.WOW
It's a wonderful painting, Mary - I'm very glad you're keeping it.
Glad you didn't wipe it. Looks perfect to me! Paz ;-)
Don't touch that dial!(ha) Mary this is a beautiful painting. The color is deep and rich. The composition is excellent! Set it aside and move on. Then when you revisit it with fresh eyesyou can "tweek" as desired. (I like it as is, personally)
Hi Mary, I am new to your blog and like your work. I agree with the others..it is outstanding as is. I will be back.
You are right, Mary. Long time no see...but I'm so glad I'm looking now because purple is my very favorite color and this little study is just perfect! It seems as though you have a new boldness to your work. I love it!
Mary, please refer to my comment on your previous post. This is a beautiufl painting. So "moody blues"! I love the colors.
I need to take my own advice and 'silence the inner critic'. Thank You all.
Mary, you have so gotten the depth of the box. I love that! And such rich colors. This is a little gem.
This is definetly not a wiper Mary..,uh uh!Jeffrey
At least a study, not a wiper.Unusual perspective, rich color, good values, you pulled it off well, I'd say.
That "inner critic" keeps us pushing to be better and better. And you're so right that not every painting can be fabulous. I guess we all paint a dog now and then.... which this one is NOT!!
it;s wonderful, well done you... i am assuming you will keep your paws off this and not wipe it down?:)))
