'Pretty in Pink' Painting Give Away

WINNER: Janet McCarthy of Kingston, Massachusetts

Just to illustrate the power of the Blogosphere, I hit a milestone Sunday when my profile view turned over to 10,000. In January of 2007 it was 148. This blog has connected me in a way that nothing else can. To celebrate I'm going to give away this 5x5 painting of a white carnation on Gessoboard to someone, just for commenting on this post. I will put all the names into a 'hat' and have my hubby draw the winner on Friday. If you are not a registered blogger, make sure you leave your first name in your comment and send an email to me at WENDL15@verizon.net with "painting giveaway" in the subject line. I will include a tiny easel to set it upon.
Good Luck and thanks for all of your support!! Merry Christmas.

What an amazing accomplishment Mary and lovely painting. It is so unreal this blog-world the way you can make connections around the world...imagine when you were in say grade six and someone had told you one day you would be connecting with people this way, amazing when ya think of it...wow we've come far!

I found your blog from Chris Beck's blog. I liked the kitty in your avatar. I scanned your previous paintings. They're fun, delicious and wonderfully done!

I had to come and visit the person who left such a thoughtful and heartfelt comment on my blog today. That started the smile, your "Just Painting" is "awe-some" and I enjoyed the warmth and love on "Not Really a Cleaning Lady.

Life gets busy and it meant a lot to me that you took the time to "like me" and I'm so glad that brought me to your blogs.

All that being said, I'd love to win your carnation painting...it reminds me of a palate of wild eyeshadows on a Cirque de Soliel artiste...not a white carnation at all...that is why art is fun and full of interpretations...

Hey - that's quite an accomplishment - the 10,000 views! The painting is great - love the bright colors! I wish I could paint like that. I have absolutely no artistic bone in my body when it comes to drawing, painting, etc. sigh.

You have so many blogs going. How do you keep up? I signed up to follow this one.
