They're apricots, but if you want them to be oranges, that's fine, too. Like a one size fits all painting!

Nice light touch on the glass! And I do see the fuzz on those apricots. The black and white makes a striking background.

Beautiful colors, very rich apricots. I also like how you got the ellipse on the glass just right, challenging.

Wonderful painting, oranges or apricots, lol. Love your description. As long as they buy the painting it can be whatever they want it to be, right? lol

Hi Mary,

Nice painting. The painting of the apricot, through glass is very well done. Also I wanted to thank you for your encouragement on my blog, and for all of the positive reviews of the workshop. You were a lot of fun, and I'm glad you were there. Thanks.

I love the glass... I don't care WHAT the fruit is! P.S. I'm working on the email thing.. Hotmail is sticking their fingers in their ears - a lot of people are having this problem I guess...

wow- beautiful...great light (yes, perfect ellipse btw) & reflected color, edges, too. Deceptively simple (meaning you make a tough thing look easy), it's a beauty!
