Nice light touch on the glass! And I do see the fuzz on those apricots. The black and white makes a striking background.
Beautiful colors, very rich apricots. I also like how you got the ellipse on the glass just right, challenging.
Very beautiful, Mary. Wonderful job with the highlights on the glass.
love it! sweet!
Great glass, Mary and I knew they were apricots....
wonderful orpringots. Great use of color. I love the tiny dashes of blue green.
I love the colors.Paz
Wonderful painting, oranges or apricots, lol. Love your description. As long as they buy the painting it can be whatever they want it to be, right? lol
Love the colors! Beautiful work as always!
Hi Mary, Nice painting. The painting of the apricot, through glass is very well done. Also I wanted to thank you for your encouragement on my blog, and for all of the positive reviews of the workshop. You were a lot of fun, and I'm glad you were there. Thanks.
love the rim of the bowl and the sure strokes! nice mary!
Beautiful painting. Apricots, or oranges, who cares! The glass, composition, fruit, and colors are all fabulous!
Mary, I love the wonderful brushstrokes you use. The light on the glass is perfect!
Glass is wonderful and so hard to achieve, The apricots made my mouth Water, Lindax
I love the glass... I don't care WHAT the fruit is! P.S. I'm working on the email thing.. Hotmail is sticking their fingers in their ears - a lot of people are having this problem I guess...
wow- beautiful...great light (yes, perfect ellipse btw) & reflected color, edges, too. Deceptively simple (meaning you make a tough thing look easy), it's a beauty!
Love the glass and brushstrokes on the mystery fruit--this is a really nice piece!Faye
Great work! Like the strong contrasts - a very clear and self assured painting!
Beautiful color choices and you did a masterful job painting the glass!
