Jersey Shore

Sunflower and Garret
6x10 watercolor
We are leaving Atlantic City today after a fabulous week in our 31st floor digs on the Jersey Shore. I think I might be a Jersey girl at heart. Who knew?
I did this little study toward a future painting of my garret which is the last window at the top right.

I wish I knew you were there!! I would have come to meet you. (I was just there last Friday.) We are only an hour from there and go to AC frequently! Love today's painting Mary! Great view too! xo Sandy

Ohh, like a little country come to the city. I've never been to the Jersey shore. Looks like I have a lot of traveling to do sometime in the near future. :)

Mary, I absolutely have a wrong picture of the Jersey shore---never would have matched it to the place with the garret.

Looks like a great week, Mary. I adore your garret myself. I was born in Jersey...does that make me a Jersey girl too?

Bonjour chère amie,

Je pense que je pourrais rester des heures à admirer l'horizon avec une telle vue !...

J'aime beaucoup votre aquarelle. De belles couleurs lumineuses.

Gros bisous♡

Love this. I've only been to "the shore once" and everyone but me got burned to a fair-thee-well. I wore sunscreen and missed one small spot which was deep red when we went inside. Hot. And lovely. Great painting.

XOXOXOXOXO Barbara
