30 in 30 #12 Miss Piggy

"#12, Miss Piggy"
6x6 oil on panel
Yesterday, my two fabulous ladies came for their first painting lesson this season and we painted the white pig for the value lesson. They said that they'd lost their skills after all this time, but they hadn't. This is my pig demo which is standing in as today's 30 Paintings in 30 Days entry.

What a delightful painting! Love the contrast with the bits of red showing through the green.

I always think you've done the absolute best piggie, then you do another one that I always love more. This is so sweet! Your students are the lucky ones...

Well, this is just wonderful! I think I want to go to a ceramics shop and make my own piggy bank. One of these days!

I love the piggy and those fabulous colors. Now I see the value of values and how you masterfully use them!
