This Little Piggy

 This Little Piggy
I have two fabulous ladies who are studying with me and they were looking forward to painting this little pig prop from the Dollar Tree. I have to say that these girls are really getting it and I am so impressed with their work. This is my value demo which I tweaked a little bit after class.

So cute! I used to love the many piggy banks I had over the years as a child.

What a beautiful palette! A wonderful piece, Mary. I love the simplicity of this one and the drama of the shadow. Makes this little guy seem as if he is center stage (and he is) but on a real live stage!

Thank You Teri and Sherry.
I spent today painting this same piggy in monochromatic values and then in color.
Lets just say that values are elusive and the more you do 'em the better you'll be at doin' 'em ;)

Fantastic! I was hoping to take your class before I had to leave for home. Doesn't look like that's going to happen.

An adorable little piggy, with a great value scale! Let's see the one in color.

A cute piggy!

No fur babies, yet! I always laugh when you write "fur babies". Thanks for making me laugh.
