Reagan in The River

This is a little dog I met recently down in the dunes by the River. I got that birds of a feather vibe from her human right away and she eventually asked me to do a painting of Reagan and Jackson in that setting. I did this from a photo I took of the two dogs in the water. Just playing around with the looseness and working with shapes and color. I think my favorite part of this is the way the light shows the shape of her head.
