Geraniums

 "Geraniums" 6x6 $125 Plus $10 S&H
I am toast after spending the entire day vacuuming and washing laundry and rugs because 'the girls' have fleas :(  It's not their fault though, they picked them up on our vacation to the Cape, the only place they've been outside our home, but trying to eradicate them is a cyclical nightmare. Neither of them is too keen on the combing and powdering ritual and they run when they see me. Fleas are the creepiest, most disgusting insects EVER.
This is my painting from Saturday's paint out at Kennedy Country Gardens Fall Festival which was great fun. Click on the buy link to purchase.
we are SURE that the vacuum cleaner is coming to get us

The geraniums are great!

As for the fleas, it's been the WORST year for fleas EVER! Finally I got the dog on Comfortis and the cat on Advantage II, and it seems to have done the trick. Living at the beach here seems to guarantee fleas. If that's not bad enough, fleas bring.... tapeworms. But we won't talk about that tonight. YUCK.

They look united against you!

Love the highlights on those geraniums. They just leap out at you, as a flee sucking vacuum might!

Fleas ... YIKES! Hope they are gone soon and the girls are happy and flea free! ("Flea free" - say that 10 times fast!)

Love your geraniums! Beautiful colors and I like that you painted them close up.

Hello there Mary!... Sorry for the long delay in getting around to visit... Summer!... you know the deal!

Sure was a wonderful Thursday wakeup... coffee in hand (no Dunkins tho)... perusing the long list of "Winn-ers"! Some great work Mary. The geraniums are so colourfully rich, jaunty and painterly!
Loved your plein air demo pieces as well... interestingly similar to my own outdoor practices!

Sorry for the Katz... and for you and your trusty dusty Mary! Suck 'em up Girl!

Good Painting... and hunting... at the flea market!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

All cats know that the vacuum is always plotting to suck up kitties even when it's being very quiet in its closet.
Good luck with those pesky fleas. You did a wonderful job with your jaunty and perky geraniums.
