Busy Busy Busy

One of my many participants
Kelley helps a student paint donuts ;)
I'm tired from my busier than usual week but I just want to post some photos of our artist in residence day at Furnace Brook Middle School demo (letting the kids help paint the paintings) on Friday. This is a parent sponsored program that takes place the first Friday of each month. Kudos to the parents and the teachers and the wonderful kids we meet there.

Today I spent the day at Kennedy Gardens Fall Festival with some of the GJWP ladies. This premier garden center has a spectacular display of plants and anything and everything to do with gardening! It's always fabulously beautiful but they went all out for this 3 day event and you can see it in the wonderful displays of Pumpkins and flowers and classic cars to name but a few highlights. Food and music too. Don't miss it.

What cutie young men! I love that they seem have a joy and love for art and their paintings look as good or indeed better than any I've ever done! I'm so happy to know there are parents out there that believe the arts are important and want their kids to be exposed to them.

I think that is awesome that you guys do that. I wish there were more people who wanted to nurture creativity in kids. :)
