Provincetown

Here is my fabulous Trap Shed in Provincetown and a beautiful night shot. We are having a great time but my expectations for sales at the shed have not been met. Luckily my shed mate and I are birds of a feather in many ways including our 'dark' humor. We've been blessed with a good breeze which was more of a gale today and a beautiful view no matter how you cut it. My bother Lenny is also in town with his girlfriend Kathi and their dog Chandler so we've been busy eating out and drinking at the Old Colony Tap and people watching. Life is good. Notice Don in the background reading his book.

This looks like a great place. Sorry sales weren't what they ought to be, I think that is everywhere.

At least you are having what appears to be an awesome time!! Hoping the sales pick up for you though.

Yes, the silver lining is that my shed mate is awesome and we are having a good time. We tacked up a sigh today that says REAL ART- MADE IN AMERICA because the shell booth next door gets tons of business and we're sure the stuff is imported from China ;)
Snarky? Yes but........

Disappointing sales sometimes lead to great inspiration later on...looks like you are getting lots of great material through people watching! Maybe the sign will help!! best of luck!

Sorry I didn't make it to Provincetown when I was on the East Coast. I love your painting of the VW! Those luscious brush strokes and the power lines are a real treat.

Thank you for sharing a few show details with us. It helps to hear how other artists and shows are fairing. Eventually the economy will turn around and by then we will all have enough inventory to sell like crazy and we will be much better painters.
So glad the spot you were in was a nice one - that makes all the difference, doesn't it?!
