Beach Boys Two

 SOLD
This is a 6x6 version of 'Beach Boys' (my nephews last September). The difference between painting on the very small cotton panel as opposed to the 4 times larger, very smooth birch panel is obvious in the finish. I think I prefer the smooth.

I really love your color and the way the underpainting shows through.

Still, this is a marvelous piece and I just love that they have their sand pail near by!

There is a totally different feeling to this version. This one is more energetic because of the reds. The other version is more serene.

Mary,
This is beautiful! What a gift to be able to capture them so sweetly. Colors are fabulous and love the highlights. Warm colors are superb.

Mary, both of the Beach Boys paintings are wonderful!! Each has it's own special qualities - no need for comparison. (Actually, all of your work is wonderful!)
