Remember when people referred to someone as a "good egg"? What the heck was that all about?
Anyway I did this in my Carol Marine class. She really knows how to paint eggs. This one is sold but there will be more of this subject. I had to hide all my saved eggshells in the back of the refrigerator so Don wouldn't throw them away ;)

Very nice Mary! We have not gotten to eggs yet but I did paint a pear about 8 times in a row yesterday! She is really a good teacher and I am enjoying myself in her workshop and feel like I am learning a lot. Your work is wonderful and I especially love this one!
wish i can paint. all i can do is appreciate it.
thanks for the visit. you have nice works in here.
Dynamic brushwork that looks very energetic!
Dear Mary,
A visit to your blog is inspiring and interesting...
Happy that you visited and left encouraging comments which would inspire my son (the artist) in doing more artwork...
thanks and congratulations for the art works which you have posted in your blog...
I love that saying - great colors in this, by the way -
Gorgeous, gorgeous colors!!
Wonderful! The colors are fabulous! I really love the blue.
Merry Christmas! It was so great hearing from you!

That is just plain gorgeous. Seriously. Love those colors! :) Hiding your eggshells *snort* that's too funny. My hubby would toss them too!
Love the brushstrokes and colors in this. Wondering what the little round red things are? Berries?
I love your fearless colors in this. Carol painted a raw egg at our workshop here in ME--she makes it look so easy.
Great color!!! No wonder it's sold! :)
Carol, they're cherry tomatoes. Not very well defined though...
Beautiful. I like the colors and style with great plasticity.
Amazing color in this Mary...I'm not surprised it sold!
Enjoy your holidays!!
Wow, I love how colorful this is.
Love, love, love this! Very powerful colors and brushstrokes! (and I have to laugh about hiding the eggshells--that sort of thing sounds way too familiar at my house)
Wonderful colors..you had to see these directly, don't think you could make them up...that's trusting your eyes! Excellent!
The colors and everything are terrific in this painting! Absolutely love it.

I love the transparency of the egg white. Your colors are too pretty!
