MG Roadster

I had to stop and snag a photo of this cool MG Roadster circa 1950 or so. I remember that a friend of my parents had one of these in red and when I was a toddler he took me for a ride in it. I was quite fascinated with the small size of the car.

NAILED it! I love the way your light seems almost faceted on shiny objects.

Hi Mary -
I haven't visited in quite a while and wanted to come say hello back. I've been job hunting apres the Census ended and not been able to keep my posting current. Thus I really appreciate your stopping by and commenting.

I've always loved your sense of color and use of paint. You understand perfectly that being a painter is working the whole surface - so much more than "coloring in a drawing."

Mary, I think these last three paintings are fabulous. The confidence in the medium which shines through them is a joy to behold!

Ah, the old MGTD. Every once in awhile we see one of these driving around town. For many years, I had a MGB roadster. Fun cars.

You've done a nice job painting the oldie. Still looks like it wants to run.
