Yellow Teapot

Last week I went up to Bonita to get my hair cut and came across another item I couldn't resist in a shop called the Mother Load and believe me, it IS!  In a tiny building of 5 rooms crammed with memorabelia and anything you can name, I spent an hour and a half looking at everything. In the end I came away with this fabulous teapot in a color I can't resist and two other treasures!   I used to work with a woman who went out and bought clothes on her lunch break and hid them in the trunk of her car so the hubby wouldn't know. I won't go that far but Don did ask, "don't you have enough props?" Never ;)

This is gorgeous and you have such an awesome palette here!! Wish your paintings came up as thumbnails in my blog. I have one painting for your works that comes up but it is of fuschia? I haven't a clue where it came from!!

Enough props? What's that? This is sweet, and I LOVE the color! Hey, Feedburner no longer delivers your paintings to my Inbox, what's with that? Will you check or should I re-subscribe????

I wish there were more shops like that around here. Nice bold color.

Love it! I have a great old copper tea kettle that I bought at a yard sale and hope to actually paint someday. This is a great inspiration.

Hi Mary!... Love the "little teapot... short and stout... here is my handle ... here is my spout..."! It triggered a very early childhood song memory which was equally joyful to sing as a child... along with body actions to match the lyrics!Sang it for the first time in sixty years!Strange the bond betweem visual image... music and movement!

I so enjoy your commentary as well... and take solace in the factr that "I" am not alone when it comes to "rabbiting away" oddness... for future painting reference... and being scourged by my "significant other" for my eclectic tastes!HAHA!!!

Thank "You" for continuing to share!

Good painting!

Warm regards,
Bruce

Beautful! I love the shape and the color of the teapot, and the whole palette is wonderful. You are so good at finding these things. I'm with you, you can never have too many props.
