Out to Pasture WC 6x6

It seems that this little hatchback has taken its last ride. Now it's a painting subject. As usual, it was really buggy while I painted. My setup was on the hood of the car. If you like old cars as a subject visit Ron Morrison's blog and see his cool watercolors of really old abandoned cars.

It says on Feedjit that I'm from Halifax, but I'm in Oxford, about 40 k from where you were---we had a lovely beach day today, even though I lost my luggage in Toronto. How clever was I to have put my bathing suit in my carry-on?

I swear I've seen this very scene before. Really nice Mary. I like the softness of the whole piece.

This painting has a sense of spontaneity and capriciousness. I love the way the hatchback is 'peeking' over the brush.
Great use of greens by the way.

There is a nice feeling of light here, Mary; crisp clean colors!
