Nantucket Lightship 8X10 study

This is a study of the Nantucket Lightship from the deck of the cottage in Wareham. It was a hot and hazy evening and I just blocked this in really quickly. It's very high key in terms of its color depth. I'll be getting back to it soon. Right now, we're painting the bedroom walls.

Not ready for the Sox panic button yet...good to hear from you, hope you're well. By the way, "Two Island Farm and "Codman Study" are really bang up paintings. Looks like you're having a great summer,
Best,
Todd

looks very much like you can see the air move. i also like the flowers in the vase below. white is very hard to do; regardless of using the white paper as the white.

I can feel the mist in my hair---no, that's conditioner, but I can certainly hear gulls.
