View from The Codman Study 8x10

This is almost finished. You can see that I meant to include the window mullions but now think that it adds nothing and could in fact, detract. Any advice? There are no words to describe how I feel when I'm in this building. I'm doing a bit of a painting documentary on this space that I'll soon have to leave. When I came to the first Open Studios they had here in 1994, I felt a good vibe. It was my hubby that suggested that I get myself a space. Our studios validate us in a way that nothing else does. When we are here. We're artists.

hi Mary, you know I think I like it without the mullions. I love the gray tower part, it drew my eye right away and I think your love of this view, this place is really coming through. Keep painting it!! This one may be one of my favorites.

Debbie, thanks for the input.
I think you're right. I'm going to finish it up today.
I do wear my heart on my sleeve in many ways :)

Mary,
Thank you for your comments on my painting and to my crazy 'art talk'. I love this painting of yours. Beautiful color harmony! Looking forward to seeing more.

Leave it! The mullions would be 'dibby-dabby'ing it! Looked for you yesterday and the day before.... so sad.

Nice cool color! Quite the contrast from the one just below. The palette is perfect to view on the recent hot day.
