When you get settled anew.... paintings are going to flow out of you like LAVA - hot, hot hot!!! And your set up looked VERY good at the Bristol festival. Very vibrant - maybe your should have 'velcroed' them to shades.....Kelley Carey MacDonaldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14667693715096070393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20375988.post-3078634586873021182007-08-01T12:15:00.000-04:002007-08-01T12:15:00.000-04:00Mary,I'm sorry about the building. Crowd was fairly steady but I sold nothing. Photographers sold and the "shade" guy who replaced you did a brisk business passing out cards. He attaches the fabric of your choice to various styles of shades. "Is it Art?" he's ask people who approached the fabric covered shades hung on the fence, and they'd say "Sure is",every single time.
Ok, interior decor is not fine art.
WHAT EVER.
Paula, is that not the most wonderful view? The building really has character. The day I painted this, I was all alone in my wing. It was a Sunday. Glorious breeze coming through all of the opened studio doors and windows. Hot.
I think I channeled Edward Hopper.Mary Sheehan Winnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07739304038978908921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20375988.post-74040484290992251092007-07-31T18:37:00.000-04:002007-07-31T18:37:00.000-04:00I hear you on the chimney..when I was across the h...I hear you on the chimney..when I was across the hall from you I used to look at it but never really did anything with it.
